The center half practically undressed the forward but pushing and shoving in the box is accepted as part and parcel of the game. Tough call, buit honestly it was the right one.

great point here...only the most blatent foul is called for a penalty kick in injury time in any league by any ref...cant wait to see the replay of this after work to judge for myself cause with Austria being at home it seems very shady to me....

There have been about 40 so far in all the games. That is 2nd PK that has been called in the tourney, I thought both were shady at best.

IMO when you call a PK it has to really have prevented a goal scoring opportunity.

This is like calling a foul in the NBA if a guys is blocking out on FT, wait they do that shit in the NBA.

yeah but what about the austrain players grabbing at the polish players? Both teams were fouling. I know you had Austria +.5 so I can see why you are justifying the call.

First half of the game thats maybe the right call but to let it go all game and then call it during injury time is influencing the outcome of a game cause more likely than not that balls flicked away harmlessly. Defenders a tool but ref made a bad call

What are you people watching? Defender grabbed his shirt and yanked him down. Those are 50/50 decisions but you can't blame the ref for calling it, it was a clear foul.

Who cares anyways, Poland had no business winning the game. Austria had 3 clear cut chances in the first 15-20 minutes they blew and the Polish goal was offside. A draw was a fair result, both teams out.

I thought it was a foul. But the problem is these are not consistently given so I can understand people being pissed off about it. Poland backers shouldn't be pissed though, as their goal was offside.

I agree from what I have heard that people with Poland are lucky to have even been in the game or get a push or whatever but people with under like myself should be very pissed to have that called and an offside goal aswell....
